At Craighall Scout Group, we charge a fee per term. As a group we are obliged to pay an annual membership fee to the national scout association. To cover these costs we also charge a "subscription" fee which is due during the first term that any Scout or Cub is at Craighall. If a cub or scout is a member then the subscription fee becomes due during the first term of each calendar year (i.e. January of each year.) When a cub or scout joins Craighall, then the subscription fee is due immediately upong joining, regardless of during which term the cub or scout joins the group. The fees for the 2008/9 financial year are as follows:
When a Cub or Scout joins Craighall their membership is conferred at an Investiture ceremony. At this memorable occassion, your son will receive badges, a Craighall Scarf and a book detailing his advancement. To cover these costs we charge a once-off investiture fee. Depending on what badges are required, the fees may vary. The maximum costs for investiture are:
